I drink Latrel Milk with 18% protein which costs $5 so if Tom Brady drinks $5K milk how many grams of protein is in it? 500?
In a surprising off-field play, legendary coach Bill Belichick revealed he once spent $5,000 on milk—all in the name of team harmony.
During his appearance on The Pivot podcast, Belichick shared a behind-the-scenes moment from Antonio Brown’s short stint with the New England Patriots. Brown, who briefly stayed at Tom Brady’s house, tried to do something nice for the star quarterback by ordering his preferred milk—a rare and expensive kind.
However, things took a wrong turn.
“To make a long story short, it kinda got mixed up and it ended up in the mail room for too long,” Belichick explained. “The milk went bad.”
Rather than letting spoiled milk sour the budding relationship between Brady and Brown, Belichick stepped in.
“Sometimes you just gotta do the right thing,” the former coach said. “And I didn’t wanna ruin the relationship between Brown and Brady on this spoiled milk. So, we spent $5,000 to replace his milk.”
Though Antonio Brown’s tenure with the Patriots lasted just 11 days, the bond with Brady held strong. The two later reunited with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, winning Super Bowl LV together. Brown then famously quit during a game and has since tried to troll Brady online about his divorce from Gisele Bünchden.
Belichick’s commitment to keeping the locker room—and the fridge—peaceful, just might be one of his most unexpected coaching moments yet.
