What is your favorite war film?
Hollywood Insider Nexus Point News is reporting that Bradley Cooper has been chosen to replace Chris Hemsworth in the reboot of the 'G.I. Joe' franchise from the script written by Danny McBride. Yes, the same Danny McBride actor who blew up everything in 'Tropic Thunder.'
Cooper is currently in production in Monaco on the 'Ocean's' prequel, where he and Margot Robbie are playing the parents of Danny and Debbie Ocean, previously played by George Clooney and Sandra Bullock. Will Clooney and Bullock cameo?
There have been three films in the 'G.I. Joe' franchise: 'G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra' (2009) $300 million, 'G.I. Joe: Retaliation' (2013) $370 million, and 'Snake Eyes: G.I. Joe Origins' (2021) $40 million. I personally don't know why they didn't continue the series with Channing Tatum and Dwayne Johnson.
The end of 'Transformers: Rise of the Beasts' laid the groundwork for a crossover, so whether this happens in the film depends on the timeline, as that film took place in the 90s.
