Rockstar Games’ upcoming Grand Theft Auto VI is arguably the most anticipated video game of the next few years. Set in a vast, open-world Vice City, players can expect an immersive experience with countless activities and a story-driven campaign. Historically, GTA titles feature around 31 hours of main story gameplay, while full completion can take up to 85+ hours.

The last major release from Rockstar, Red Dead Redemption 2 (2018), boasted a 51-hour main story and a daunting 190 hours for 100% completion. Recent reports from popular YouTuber Legacy Killa HD suggest that GTA VI may incorporate elements from RDR2, particularly in terms of interface design and gameplay style. According to the report, the game will offer plenty of side content, but the main story is expected to be shorter than Red Dead Redemption 2.

One interesting tidbit revealed was that a basketball mini-game, reminiscent of San Andreas, was in development by Rockstar Toronto. However, as of last year, its future remains uncertain, with the feature possibly being cut before the game’s release. Rockstar is known for trimming content during production, so this wouldn't be a first for the company.

As it stands, GTA VI is targeting a late 2025 release, with fans eagerly awaiting official details.
