Which is your favorite Joshua Jackson role? I'm going with Peter Bishop in 'Fringe,' where he played the genius son to an even bigger genius father, Walter Bishop, played memorably by John Noble. There was comedy, drama, and mystery, with the twist being Peter was kidnapped from an alternate Earth from another Walter Bishop. Sorry, I hope I just didn't spoil an 18-year-old show.

'The Vampire Diaries' showrunner Julie Plec once had a brilliant casting choice to play the villain Klaus Mikaelson in 2010 during season 2. Joshua Jackson who she worked with on 'Dawson's Creek.' Plec told US Weekly: "That being said, if there's some big hot TV star that's available that we love, then… As I always joke, I have my Joshua Jackson fantasy: Pacey in Mystic Falls."

Joseph Morgan would land the role of Klaus, and his awesome performance led him to get his own spinoff, 'The Originals,' which focused on his family in New Orleans as they fought off enemies, which were numerous since they were the first vampires on earth. Who can forget such scenes where he kills his own father with the White Oak stake and him saving Stefan from the Huntress, launching the Vampire hunter into the air with a wrench.

As to why I'm writing this article, I don't think there was much credit given to 'The Vampire Diaries,' which was like '24' to me with fast pacing and main characters constantly being killed off and a hook going into every commercial break. Do you agree?
