"LANTERNS" TRAILER VIDEO BELOW ARTICLE:
What is your favorite DC movie trailer of all time? Is it between 'The Dark Knight' and 'Man of Steel? Or is it new ones like 'Superman' and 'Supergirl'?
The purely awesome first trailer for the 'Lanterns' TV series has been released online by DC Studios. Created by Damon Lindelof (Lost), Tom King (Supergirl), and Chris Mundy (Ozark), the series will introduce human Green Lanterns Hal Jordan and John Stewart, played by Kyle Chandler (Friday Night Lights) and Aaron Pierre (Rebel Ridge), to the DCU. Nathan Fillion will be reprising his role as Guy Gardner that he first played in 'Superman' last year.
The plot is expected to be a mix of 'True Detective' meets superhero as Jordan and Stewart solve a crime in the American Midwest. The series will be released on HBO Max in August 2026. Will it compare to 'Peacemaker'?
