Leonardo DiCaprio is allegedly stalling talks to appear in David Fincher’s highly anticipated sequel to Once Upon A Time in Hollywood, and it’s starting to frustrate Netflix. According to industry insider Jeff Sneider on The Hot Mic, the Oscar-winning actor has been offered a staggering $3 million — for just one day of shooting.

Set to begin filming in July, the sequel reunites Fincher with Brad Pitt, and potentially Margot Robbie, but DiCaprio is reportedly hesitant. While $3M might seem generous for a brief cameo, it pales in comparison to DiCaprio’s usual $20 million-per-film paycheck. His reluctance has left the streaming giant concerned about production timelines.

Fans are eager to see DiCaprio reprise his role as Rick Dalton, even if briefly. Despite the delay, insiders believe the actor will eventually come around — not wanting to leave Fincher and Pitt in the lurch.

Will $3M be enough to secure a cameo from one of Hollywood’s most bankable stars? Or will Netflix have to dig deeper into its pockets? One thing’s certain: this sequel is already making headlines long before the cameras start rolling.
