The film's logline reads "In the film, ten-year-old Adam Glenn (Galitzine) crash-lands on his mother’s home planet Earth, separating him from his ancestor’s Power Sword of Grayskull. Two decades later, he takes his sword back and bears on the mantle of He-Man as he battles for his home planet, Eternia, against the evil forces of Skeletor (Jared Leto)."

It co-stars Idris Elba as Man-At-Arms, Morena Baccarin as the Sorceress, Alison Brie as Evil-Lyn, Charlotte Riley as Queen Marlena, James Purefoy as King Randor, Hafthor Bjornsson as Goat Man, Sam C.
