"Masters Of The Universe" Trailer Creates Controversy With He-Man's Pronouns

Are you sick of the battle in the entertainment industry over what's woke and anti-woke?

The trailer drop for 'Masters Of The Universe' last week has created a mini controversy online for a shot of Adam/He-Man (Nicholas Galitzine) at his work desk with a nametag with his pronouns he/him, which is a clever play on his name.

I guess some people online are taking a quick cutaway gag shot as a firing shot for war against the woke and politically correct. Jon Del Arroz, a Conservative author, shared his thoughts on X: “Now they’re making a Masters of the Universe and giving He-Man pronouns. These people won’t stop until they ruin everything.”

'Landman's' 9th episode of season 2 from a few weeks ago also caused uproar when Ainsley (Michelle Randolph) openly questioned her new college roommate Paigyn's (Bobbi Salvör Menuez) pronouns, with her argument that "they" is used for plural words.

I think the storyline was more about showing the character's naivety to the real world than some political statement by the show's creator, Taylor Sheridan. They would reconcile in the season finale, which was done by having an open conversation about their lifestyle and respecting each other's choices, which is what everyone should do.
