"Mortal Kombat 2" First Trailer Released Online

Have you ever been iced out, had your heart torn out and had your soul snatched? No, I'm not talking about the joys of online dating, I'm referring to playing the video game Mortal Kombat.

Karl Urban joins the film franchise as Johnny Cage, a character who was based on Jean-Claude Van Damme before the actor turned them down. The rest of the cast include Josh Lawson as Kano, Jessica McNamee as Sonya Blade, Hiroyuki Sanada as Scorpion, Ludi Lin as Liu Kang, Mehcad Brooks as Jax, Max Huang as Kung Lao, Lewis Tan as Cole Young, Chin Han as Shang Tsung, Tadanobu Asano as Lord Raiden, and Joe Taslim as Noob Saibot.

The film opens in theaters October 24th, 2025. And if you're lucky, you may see Van Damme outside the theater giving the Real Johnny Cage Reality Tour on a bus. Comment below with your thoughts.
