What is your favorite Scarlett Johansson movie? Mine is 'The Island', directed by Michael Bay and co-starring Ewan McGregor. While it is far from her best performance, I think this is the film that showed Marvel she could do action scenes as Black Widow.
It is now confirmed that the role Scarlett Johansson will play in 'The Batman: Part 2' is Gilda Gold Dent, the wife of Harvey Dent/Two-Face, the Gotham City D.A. who becomes one of Batman's main villains that was previously played by BIlly Dee Williams in 'Batman', Tommy Lee Jones in 'Batman Forever', Aaron Eckhart in 'The Dark Knight', Nicholas D'Agosto in 'Gotham', and Misha Collins in 'Gotham Knights'. Gilda Dent has not been seen before in live action on television or film.
Reports came out last week that Brad Pitt was in contention to play Dent's father, which were later debunked as Pitt is filming Edward Berger's "The Riders" at the same time in May, when filming starts on the 'Batman' sequel in the UK at Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden.
Now the big question is who should play Harvey Dent? I watched 'The Running Man' the other night and was impressed by Glen Powell's intensity with his anger that would work for the character of Dent, who turns evil after having half his face burnt off in a toxic attack.
