Brad Pitt The Adventures Of Cliff Booth

Which Quentin Tarantino film do you wish would get a sequel?

Netflix’s next potential blockbuster has quietly emerged: The Adventures of Cliff Booth, a spiritual sequel to Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, is reportedly underway — and it’s big.

Though unconfirmed by Netflix, sources reveal that David Fincher will direct Brad Pitt in the mysterious new feature, scripted by Quentin Tarantino. The California Film Commission recently awarded the untitled project $20 million in tax credits, the largest single allocation in the latest round — hinting at the film’s massive scale.

Production begins July 28, 2025, and is expected to stretch into early 2026, totaling nearly six months of filming. The scale is staggering: 128 actors, 428 crewmembers, and nearly 4,000 background-actor workdays are planned, with a qualified in-state spend of $106 million — part of an undisclosed, likely colossal budget.

Cliff Booth picks up where Tarantino’s Oscar-winning 2019 film left off, following Pitt’s enigmatic stuntman on new, possibly violent adventures through a revisionist Hollywood. Joining the cast are Carla Gugino, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Elizabeth Debicki, and Scott Caan, indicating a rich, possibly genre-blending ensemble.

While The Movie Critic may be shelved, Cliff Booth could serve as a spiritual epilogue to Tarantino’s legacy — now reimagined through Fincher’s darker, meticulous lens.

For cinephiles, this is one to watch. Comment below with your thoughts.
