"The Fast And The Furious 11": Why The Delay?

What is your favorite 'Fast And The Furious' film? Is it the early ones which were sorta grounded in reality, or the post-Paul-Walker films which not only jumped the shark but jumped it in space using an old Pontiac Fiero.
Hollywood insider Jordan Ruimy's World Of Reel has reported that a possible delay of 'The Fast And The Furious 11' could be from a flying under the radar civil trial for sexual assault against star Vin Diesel, who plays Dominic Torretto. I have no details on the trial, but I hope it's not true.
Jason Momoa, who played the villain Dante in 'Fast X,' in an interview with Playlist talked about how he hasn't seen a script: "I would love to come back and play, man. People all over the world love that character—it’s crazy. But I got no script, so not that soon."
I have written in the past about how they need to bring back Paul Walker's Brian O'Conner into the franchise, using his brothers and upgraded CGI. His character has been sorely lacking from the last three, and it's clear he was the heart of the team.
