July 4th is a special time in America. A day created in honor of a Will Smith movie fighting Aliens. A celebration of the country's birthday. A moment where it's patriotic to shoot fireworks for some reason. It's also a time for people around the world to gather around the TV and watch pro fighters in the glory of the Star Spangled Banner.

Donald Trump and Dana White announced plans several months ago for the UFC in 2026 to host a card at the back lawn of the White House during the July 4th weekend. Whether you're a Republican or Democrat, you've got to admit the idea is interesting. And if you're a Canadian planning to attend the event like me, you are probably still stuck at Border Patrol trying to hide this post from them seeing it. If this is a Border Patrol officer reading, I love Trump very, very much. Please let me in. I promise to buy Alex Jones' Iodine Nuclear blast blocker.

Opening Fight- Alex Pereira vs Tom Aspinall

You need to start the card with a barnburner KO, and this fight probably won't go past the first round. I see Pereira winning, as I haven't seen that many Aspinall fights to sway my decision.

Second Fight- Dricus Du Plessis vs Sean Strickland

These guys love to fight, but I see it going the full three rounds without a KO or submission. I see Strickland winning with the home-field advantage cheering him on as he will get the biggest crowd reaction with Diaz.

Third Fight- Islam Makhachev vs Khamzat Chimaev

These guys like to wrestle, so let them wrestle for three rounds while fans take the time to use the bathroom or refill on beer. The winner will be unknown as I'll probably be checking my Instagram or filing taxes.

Co-Main Event- Conor McGregor vs Nate Diaz

This fight would probably have the best promotional hype leading up to it, with McGregor and Diaz engaging in a war of words. I don't see any knockouts or submissions, just five rounds of glory with Diaz the winner with more strikes and the winner of the fight of the night bonus.

Main Event- Jon Jones vs Francis Ngannou

This fight is the one that most likely wouldn't happen due to Jones pulling out last minute. If it did happen, I think Ngannou would swing for the fences, but Jones would weather the storm, out-wrestle him and submit him in Round 2.

So what do you think of these fights? What ones would you rather see? Comment below with your thoughts.
