"The Social Reckoning" First Trailer Released Online

What is your favorite movie about the internet? This is an old one but I'm going with Angelina Jolie's 'Hackers.' Seeing those punk kids break into computer systems reminds me of Hillary Clinton's IT department, unable to find the delete button.
The new trailer for 'The Social Reckoning' has been released online, starring Jeremy Allen White, Mikey Madison, and most importantly, Jeremy Strong, who is replacing Jesse Eisenberg as Facebook creator Mark Zuckerberg from 'The Social Network'. I have no idea why Eisenberg wouldn't return, but Strong looks nothing like him or Zuckerberg. Maybe its cause Strong is a method actor, and I'm not really a fan of actors who make sets difficult just to play a role.
The film was written and directed by Aaron Sorkin, who also wrote the first film, so it is in good hands. The film will be about the articles Jeff Horowitz (Jeremy Allen White) wrote for the Wall Street Journal called 'The Facebook Files' regarding the US 2021 Capitol insurrection. It was shot in Vancouver last year and will open in theatres on October 9th, 2026.
