Great news for the local film industry as 'Carrie' has been renewed for a second season on Amazon Prime. The show was spearheaded by Mike Flanagan and is based on the 1974 Stephen King novel and a remake of the 1976 Brian DePalma film. Did you like the book or movie better?

The show filmed primarily at the vacant Eric Hamber Secondary School on Willow Street and around other locations like Cloverdale. It employed a large film crew that will be glad they can count on it coming back. With 'The Last of Us' season 3 ending filming soon, anything filming will be a blessing.
