Alan Ritchson Replaces Jason Momoa In "Helldivers" Film

Good news for fans of the PlayStation 'Helldivers' live-action video game franchise, as Alan Ritchson (Reacher) is close to signing on as the lead in the film adaptation at Sony Pictures. Ritchson will replace his 'Fast X' co-star Jason Momoa, who left the production in June.
Justin Lin (Fast Five, Star Trek Beyond) will direct from a script by Gary Dauberman (IT, Salem's Lot) for the game about Elite shock troopers known as Helldivers that battle alien threats attempting to destroy the interplanetary empire of Super Earth. I don't know what that means; you don't know what that means let's just assume a lot of action and carnage. The film is expected to be released in theatres on November 10th, 2027.
