For those who work in the film industry, what's the one show you wish you worked on? For me, without a doubt, it's 'Smallville'. I think it still remains the best comic book show and the only project that filmed in Vancouver I didn't get to be on.

Allison Mack is opening up on a new CBC podcast 'Allison After NXIVM' about how 'Smallville' co-star Kristin Kreuk introduced her to the NXIVM cult, which would later be revealed as an abusive sex cult to members and would suck Mack in and send her to prison in 2021for two years in helping cult leader Keith Raniere recruit women. Kreuk has stated she left before getting further involved and had no knowledge of any abuses at the cult.

Mack explains how Kreuk introduced her: “We both were at the point where we were 25. We were in New York City together. It was our break. And we had rented an apartment in the same building in the West Village. And we both were like, why do we both feel so unsatisfied?”

"'It's the science of joy, it's the most amazing thing. It's made everything so much better in my life. You've got to do this." Kreuk had told Mack. "It was like all she could talk about... She had a coach and she was talking about Vanguard and Prefect, which are the names that you called Keith and his wife Nancy at the time. Kristin was like, 'There is an organization, Keith's Creative, it's just for women and they're doing a weekend. And I think you should do it. I think you'd really like it.'"
