What is your favorite adventure film?
Universal has officially signed on Brendan Fraser and Rachel Weisz for 'The Mummy 4', where they will reprise their roles of treasure hunters Rick and Evelyn O'Connell. Weisz skipped out on the third film, where she was replaced by Maria Bello. Does anyone remember that one?
The film was written by David Coggeshall (Orphan: First Kill, The Family Plan) and is being directed by Tyler Gillett and Matt Bettinelli-Olpin (Scream, Ready Or Not), who are better known as Radio Silence. I don't know what that means, you don't know what it means. Let's move past it.
It is unknown if other cast members, such as Dwayne Johnson, Oded Fehr, Arnold Vosloo, and John Hannah, will be returning, but I suspect Fehr and Hannah will be coming back. Whether Johnson wants to return to his first film role as the Scorpion King should be known soon. The film is expected to be released on May 19th, 2028.
