"F1" Sequel Is Greenlit, Will It Be A "Days of Thunder" Crossover?

What is your favorite movie about auto racing? I always found it funny in 'Driven' when Kip Pardue and Sylvester Stallone steal the Indy cars from the cocktail party and race through the streets of Chicago. They weren't only not arrested but not even suspended from IndyCar.
Jerry Bruckheimer was at the Academy Awards luncheon on Tuesday in Los Angeles, where he told the BBC that a sequel to 'F1' was officially greenlit by Apple Studios. The first film starring Brad Pitt and Damon Idris made $633 million worldwide and was nominated for Best Picture at the upcoming Oscars.
Bruckheimer said, "It was a long journey to get the movie made because we had to endure a couple of strikes, but in the end, the movie entertained audiences around the world. I’d never worked with Brad Pitt before, and it was really a thrill to collaborate with him."
I have talked before about my hopes for a crossover with 'Days of Thunder 2', which is very likely since it shares the same producer with Bruckheimer. 'F1' director Joseph Kosinski made a sequel from another Tony Scott film with 'Top Gun: Maverick,' and Tom Cruise is probably jumping at the chance after seeing rival Pitt do a film he dreams of making.
