What is your favorite Steven Spielberg movie? I have to go with 'Minority Report'? Watching Tom Cruise being chased reminds me of the new viral trend of groups of teenagers running through the Church of Scientology looking for him
Good news, fans of Western films. With the announcement that David Koepp (Mission: Impossible, Spider-Man) is writing a film adaptation of 'Westworld' for Warner Bros., rumors are that frequent Koepp collaborator Steven Spielberg could be the director for the project. This won't be a continuation of the recent TV series on HBO but a reimagining of the 1973 film that was written and directed by Michael Crichton (ER, Jurassic Park).
'Westworld' is about a fantasy theme park where visitors are in the Old West populated with robots. Spielberg himself talked about his newest project in development that sounds similar to the film.': "Can’t reveal anything right now, but I have a western in development… and it kicks ass. There will be horses. There will be guns. There will be no tropes, I can tell you that. There’s going to be no stereotypes." Does that mean the horses won't be stereotyped as horses and instead are being played by sheep?
