What is your favorite film biopic? Is it of an athlete, a Hollywood celebrity, or a political figure?
Hollywood Insider Daniel Richtman is reporting that Glen Powell is in talks to replace departed Leonardo DiCaprio in Damien Chazelle's 'Evel Knievel Goes On Tour', a biopic focusing on Evel Knievel's crazy plan to jump his motorcycle over Idaho's Snake River in 1974.
The script was written by Terrence Winter (Wolf Of Wall Street) and William Monahan (The Departed) and is in development at Paramount Pictures. This is expected to be filmed after Chazelle's upcoming prison drama starring Cillian Murphy and Daniel Craig.
Evel Knievel was famous for his motorcycle stunts and breaking 433 bones in his body. He went to jail for six months and lost everything when he attacked a writer for a candid book written about him. He would later pass away in Florida in 2007.
