What is your favorite Will Smith movie that you want to have a sequel to?

Great news for fans of the first 'I Am Legend' as the sequel has signed a director. Steven Caple Jr. (Transformers: Rise of the Beasts/Creed 2) will take over from Francis Lawrence (Constantine), who made the first one and did a killer job in my opinion, blending the horror and the isolation that Will Smith's character Robert Neville suffered from being the supposed only human left alive in the world. Think of what Howard Hughes would do in a zombie outbreak. He would come in with the milk most likely.

Michael B. Jordan will be joining Smith in the cast, his role still unknown. In the film's original ending, Robert Neville died when he sacrificed himself by detonating a bomb to kill the zombies. I much preferred the alternate ending where Smith survives to leave New York to find more survivors with the cure he invented. Now, it's been confirmed that the sequel will make that canon.

Akiva Goldsman (Cinderella Man) is back as writer and previously talked about it at Comic-Con. “We’re sequelizing the alternative cut where Will lives, and things don’t go well for humanity. Smith himself told Screen Daily that, “We're going with the mythology of the DVD version.”

My favorite and least favorite scene is when his German Shepherd, Sam, saves Neville from a zombie dog, and Neville is forced to choke her to death before she turns. What makes it so heartbreaking is that he discovers a cure only days later. I always hate it when the dog dies in a film. How about you?
