"I Know What You Did Last Summer" Sequel First Trailer Released Online

Sony Pictures has released the first trailer for the new I Know What You Did Last Summer, a sequel to the 1997 cult classic. Jennifer Love Hewitt and Freddie Prinze Jr. return as Julie and Ray, joined by new stars like Madelyn Cline, Chase Sui Wonders, and Jonah Hauer-King.

This time, five friends cover up a fatal car accident, only to be hunted a year later by someone who knows their secret. As bodies pile up, they seek help from the original survivors of the Southport Massacre.

Directed by Jennifer Kaytin Robinson and co-written with Sam Lansky, the film was shot in Sydney and Los Angeles. I Know What You Did Last Summer hits theaters July 18.
