Iron Man Tony Stark Captain America Steve Rogers Marvel

If the President Of The United States can be replaced with a ball of yarn and a half-eaten Butterfinger bar, why can't superhero characters be?

Avengers: Secret Wars will not only introduce the X-Men to the Marvel universe, but it will also reset everything by recasting with new actors. But now we know this won't just be limited to the Mutants, as Iron Man and Captain America will also be looking for new portrayers. Yes, Soap Opera actors, call your agent.

In an interview with Variety, Marvel's Kevin Feige talked about how other franchise legacy roles have been recast:

“Amy Pascal and David Heyman are now searching for a new James Bond. David [Corenswet], the new Superman - he was awesome. That will always be the case. I think it’s hard for anybody to do that when an actor has done such a great role. How are they going to ever replace Sean Connery [as James Bond], right?”

My choice for Captain America would be myself, of course, but being Canadian, I don't think Marvel wants a storyline of ICE chasing Captain America thru Wakanda. As for Iron Man, why not Conor McGregor? Imagine Tony Stark beating up senior citizens in bars and using Stark tech to test the best Coke.

So, who is your choice to play Iron Man and Captain America? Comment below with your thoughts.
