Kevin Spacey

Do you think anyone who fell during the Me Too movement in Hollywood deserves a second chance or do they need to find a new career outside of entertainment industry?

Kevin Spacey is officially back in the director’s chair—for the first time in over 20 years. The two-time Oscar winner is helming and starring in Holiguards, a supernatural action-thriller that’s as strange as it sounds.

According to Variety, Holiguards boasts a wild cast: Dolph Lundgren, Tyrese Gibson, Brianna Hildebrand, Disha Patani, Eric Roberts, and a sprinkle of social media influencers. The plot? Set in a dystopian future, two mystical factions—the Holiguards and Statiguards—battle for humanity’s fate. A young woman born from both bloodlines might bring peace… or trigger doomsday if a Statiguard strategist nukes Paris to summon “the Prime” (definitely not Amazon).

Shot in Mexico with a $10M budget, the film is currently in post-production. Backed by Elledgy Media—run by Elvira Gavrilova Paterson, a Portugal-based Ukrainian entrepreneur—the film aims to launch a franchise.

Whether Holiguards marks a controversial comeback or just another footnote in a bizarre cinematic year, one thing’s clear: 2025 is officially weirder than expected. Comment below if you think Spacey should be given a second chance.
