What is your favorite Batman film? I'm going with 'The Dark Knight' for sure. Its not only the best Batman film but one of the greatest superhero films of all time.

Sad news for fans of the Elseworlds version of Batman, as director Matt Reeves has taken a leave of absence from 'The Batman: Part II,' which started filming in June. The first film came out in 2022 and has been met by constant delays, which will leave a six-year gap if it still makes its release date of Feburary 18th, 2028.

DC released this statement: "Production on The Batman: Part II has been temporarily paused while Matt Reeves focuses on a family matter. Matt has the full support of DC Studios, and we look forward to continuing the journey soon."

The big question is: did DC learn from their mistake when they took 'Justice League' away from Zack Snyder when his daughter passed, and he took time away and was replaced with Joss Whedon, which created the biggest division in comic book film debates?

I won't speculate on what the reasons are, as I read several theories online and none of them are good. We can only hope Reeves settles his issues safely and we are finally one step closer to seeing Robert Pattinson's Batman join David Corenswet's Superman in the DCU.

Are you sad there's another delay to 'The Batman: Part II?' Comment below with your thoughts.
