Paramount To Launch High-Flying 'Top Gun' Experience In Las Vegas

When I worked on a cruise ship in San Diego I spent the day before I boarded visiting sites where Top Gun was filmed. Charlie's beachside house, the Navy bar and the Army base are some of the stops I went to.

Paramount Global is teaming up with Advent Allen Entertainment to create a thrilling new live attraction in Las Vegas inspired by the iconic Top Gun franchise. Slated to rise on an undeveloped site at The Strat on the Strip, the experience promises jet simulators, cutting-edge rides, immersive storytelling, and the nostalgia-packed Hard Deck bar—complete with live piano singalongs.

Riding high on the success of Top Gun: Maverick, this venture aims to capture the franchise's adrenaline-fueled spirit in an experiential format. Visitors will have the chance to step into the Danger Zone through high-tech simulations and interactive environments that echo the daring lifestyle of naval aviators.

“We’re proud to unite with Paramount to bring this timeless, action-packed epic to life,” said Mark Advent, co-founder of Advent Allen Entertainment.

Opening in 2028, the Las Vegas experience is just the beginning. Paramount plans to expand globally, following the entertainment industry’s growing trend of IP-driven immersive experiences. This initiative joins Paramount’s other ventures, including a Nickelodeon-themed indoor park in New Jersey and a SpongeBob attraction headed to Universal’s Texas park.

Pam Kaufman, Paramount’s president of international markets and global experiences, summed it up: “This innovative venture marks a new milestone for Top Gun and expands Paramount’s portfolio of immersive entertainment.”
