Which Reacher novel adaptation is your favorite? Is it one of the three seasons from the TV show or one of the two Tom Cruise movies?

Amazon Prime Video’s hit series “Reacher” is officially moving forward with Season 4, and this time, it’s taking on Lee Child’s 13th novel, “Gone Tomorrow.” The announcement was confirmed by both series star Alan Ritchson and Amazon via Instagram, following a subtle teaser photo posted by Child featuring a script left on a subway seat.

In true Reacher fashion, the story kicks off at 2 a.m. on a New York City subway, where Jack Reacher spots a woman behaving suspiciously. Moments later, she commits suicide before he can intervene—setting off a mystery that the NYPD wants to close quickly, but Reacher refuses to ignore.

“Gone Tomorrow” brings Reacher into a web of urban intrigue and post-9/11 paranoia, making it a gripping follow-up to Season 3’s adaptation of “Persuader.” The new season is slated to enter production in Summer 2025.

The “Reacher” series has taken a nonlinear approach to its source material. Season 1 was based on the debut novel “Killing Floor” (1997), while Season 2 used “Bad Luck and Trouble” (2007), and Season 3 drew from “Persuader” (2003). This upcoming season follows that tradition, diving deeper into Reacher’s unpredictable timeline.

In related news, filming has wrapped on the upcoming “Reacher” spin-off series “Neagley”, starring Maria Sten, and is expected to premiere in 2026.

With high-stakes action and a darker New York backdrop, “Gone Tomorrow” is shaping up to be Reacher’s most intense chapter yet. Comment below with your thoughts.
