For those who work on set, have you had an on-set romance? Did it last? Or did it crash and burn?
'Laguna Beach' and 'The Hills' star Kristin Cavallari is opening up on her 'Let's Be Honest Podcast' with guest Lauren Conrad about how a cameraman, Miguel Medina she was secretly dating on 'The Hills' was fired after photos of them were leaked to the tabloids at the time she was onscreen dating Brody Jenner at the time in 2010.
Cavallari asked Conrad: “Did you know that I hooked up with a cameraman on 'The Hills?'”
When Conrad replied that she never hooked up with the crew, Cavallari gushed, "You missed out! There's nothing like a set romance. We hung out for a couple of months. And we kept it a secret. I was dating Brody [Jenner] on the show. So I was like, 'We’re being professional.'"
The cat was let out of the bag when Cavallari brought Medina to the MuchMusic awards in Toronto, where they were photographed a week before filming wrapped. "And they fired him. I remember I fought with [show creator] Adam DiVello. I was like, 'You guys would have never had any idea. We’ve been nothing but professional.'"
When Conrad mentioned that their co-star Whitney Port had a relationship with producer Tim Rosenman on her spinoff show 'The City' that led to marriage, Cavallari asked: "How is that OK? I've thought about that many a times, like, 'Wait, how is she OK to do that but I couldn't?"
