Is It The Edmonton Oilers Time With The Florida Panthers Eliminated From The Playoffs?

What is your favorite hockey team?
Good news for the Edmonton Oilers fans as their Stanley Cup rival for the last two seasons, the Florida Panthers, were eliminated from making the NHL playoffs on Saturday with a 9-4 loss to the Pittsburgh Penguins. The Oilers lost both times in the finals, leaving the big question: Is now the time for the Edmonton Oilers to win at the Pink Pony Club?
For those who don't follow hockey, the Oilers adopted 'Pink Pony Club' from Chappell Roan as their theme song. I dunno how a small-town country girl going to be an exotic dancer at a strip club in Hollywood has to do with a hockey team in Alberta, but who knows what happens in that city.
Is this the last season for the Oilers championship window for stars Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl? The Oilers are currently 15th in the league with 87 points, 23 behind the top team in the Western Conference and league Colorado Avalanche. So even to make it to the final, they will have to get through Nathan McKinnon and Cale Makar.
But as we have seen the last few years, the Oilers regular season means nothing; once they get to the playoffs, they become a completely different team. I grew up an Oilers fan, and my favorite player was Wayne Gretzky, so I'm hoping this is the year. And who knows, if they win, maybe Gretzky will bring his good friend Donald Trump to the Pink Pony Club.
