The wait is finally over for The White Lotus fans! The first trailer for the highly anticipated third season of Mike White’s acclaimed HBO series has been released, and it promises another thrilling journey, this time set in the heart of Thailand. Mark your calendars — the eight-episode season premieres February 16, 2025, at 9 p.m. ET on HBO, and will also be available to stream on Max.
This season’s teaser offers a tantalizing glimpse into the themes that lie ahead. While the first season dissected wealth and the second explored sexuality, season three shifts its focus to death, spirituality, and eastern religion. As HBO teases, “Seeking peace can be a trip.” A haunting voiceover in the trailer warns, “Everyone runs from pain towards pleasure. But they get there only to find more pain.”
The official logline reveals the setup: guests and employees at an exclusive Thai resort navigate a week filled with social satire, luxury, and underlying darkness. While the plot details remain tightly under wraps, the trailer showcases a sprawling new cast led by Natasha Rothwell, who reprises her role as Belinda Lindsey, the spa manager from season one.
Joining Rothwell are familiar Hollywood faces including Carrie Coon, Scott Glenn, Walton Goggins, Leslie Bibb, Michelle Monaghan, and Parker Posey. K-pop fans will also rejoice to see Blackpink’s Lisa Manobal making her White Lotus debut. Other notable cast members include Jason Isaacs, Dom Hetrakul, Arnas Fedaravičius, Christian Friedel, and Morgana O’Reilly.
Creator, writer, and director Mike White returns to helm the series, alongside executive producers David Bernad and Mark Kamine. Known for its biting humor and sharp social commentary, The White Lotus continues to captivate audiences by peeling back the glossy layers of privilege, desire, and human folly.
Get ready to check in and explore the paradise — and pain — of The White Lotus season three this February.
