Who Should Play Brainiac In "Superman: Man of Tomorrow"?

Who is your favorite superhero villain?
Hollywood insider Grace Randolph is reporting that the names considered to play Brainiac (alias Milton Fine) in the 'Superman' sequel titled 'Man of Tomorrow' are David Hyde Pierce (Frasier), Wallace Shawn (Young Sheldon), and Claes Bang (Dracula). While I can't see Niles Crane throwing down with the Man of Steel in a fistfight, if they are going for humor, I have a crazy choice, and that's to use Charlie Day from 'It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia.' He's always causing chaos with his weird plans, and he would team up well with John Ecnomos (Steve Agee) from 'Peacemaker.'
The film, which begins filming next April, finds an uneasy alliance between Superman (David Corenswet) and Lex Luthor (Nicholas Hoult), who have to team up to stop a larger extraterrestrial threat. That's sorta like Donald Trump and Elon Musk coming together to team up against aliens looking for work at Home Depot.
Brainiac has been played four times before in live action form. James Marsters (Buffy The Vampire Slayer) is the first, having played him in 'Smallville', followed by Jesse Rath in 'Supergirl', Blake Ritson in 'Krypton', and Nikolai Witschl in 'Superman And Lois.' Marsters is one of my favorite TV villains from 'Buffy', turning Spike the vampire from an evil antagonist to an antihero who finds his soul and humor. He is the one of the four whom I would choose to return to the role if that were a possibility.
