Following the verdict, several brands have severed ties with McGregor. Proximo Spirits, owner of Proper No. 12 Irish Whiskey, stated it would no longer use McGregor's name or image in marketing. Additionally, IO Interactive, developers of the "Hitman" video game series, ended their collaboration with him.

These developments could impact the production of "Road House 2," especially if McGregor was slated to return.
