Alan Ritchson Talks "Fast & Furious 11" Delays

Which is your favorite 'Fast & Furious' film? I'm going with 'Furious 7', as all the best aspects of the franchise peaked with it sadly as everyone since has faltered without Paul Walker.

'Reacher' star Alan Ritchson was on the 'Happy Sad Confused' podcast where he talked about the delays of the eleventh film in 'The Fast & Furious' series. Ritchson memorably joined in 'Fast X' where he played Aimes, the new leader of The Agency who turned out to be a villain aligned with Jason Momoa's Dante. Yes, the two live-action Aquamans together.

"I know a lot, we have conversations all the time, I’m a big part of those conversations. There’s just a lot of obstacles. It’s expensive to make— it’s too expensive; it doesn’t make a ton of sense. There’s a more efficient way to shoot those shows. And so there has to be a way to show restraint, while also honoring the fact that this world has expanded to something humongous. We are at the crossroads of something very hard to figure out, and everybody’s figuring it out. There’s going to be another one, and I think it’s going to be great. It’s just a matter of solving some big problems."

Vin Diesel, for his part, recently talked about the script, saying on his social media, "You have no idea… When March 17th 2028 comes… I just read the ‘Fast Forever’ script by Mike Leslie. It is the best script I have read in decades. I am still crying." Which leaves me wondering how many scripts he has read in his life?
