"Avengers: Doomsday" Third Teaser Trailer Released Online Focusing On X-Men

What is your favourite 'X-Men' film? While I'm not the biggest fan of the films, I think the two Quicksilver slow-motion scenes in 'Days Of Future Past' and 'Apocalypse' are probably the best scenes in comic book history.

The third teaser trailer for 'Avengers: Doomsday' has been released online by Marvel Studios. The trailer focuses on the X-Men as Professor X (Patrick Stewart) and Magneto (Ian McKellen) are playing chess and clasping hands before we see Cyclops (James Marsden) use his fire beams from his eyes as a Sentinel walks behind him. The fourth teaser trailer hasn't been leaked online yet, surprisingly, which I think makes it more obvious that Marvel is the leaker. It reportedly shows the Black Panther characters on a spaceship. How many teasers there will be before the real full trailer comes out remains unknown.

Directed by the Russo Brothers, the film will see the return of pretty much every Marvel character except Iron Man. Robert Downey Jr. will instead play the main villain, Doctor Doom. Also here for the team up is the original X-Men, and The Fantastic Four.

The plot is expected to be about Doctor Doom chasing down Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) for causing time incursions from returning the Infinity Stones to their original timelines, then staying in the past to be with Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell). The film opens in theaters on December 18th, 2026.
