Are you a bigger fan of Marvel or DC?
Variety is reporting that Sebastian Stan is close to signing on for Matt Reeves 'The Batman: Part 2', where he would play the hero turned villain, Harvey Dent, aka. Two-Face. Stan has been in the MCU for 15 years playing Bucky Barnes/The Winter Soldier, where he first appeared in 'Captain America' in 2011. Scarlett Johansson joined the cast last month as Dent's wife, Gilda Gold Dent, which will be another MCU reunion. Barry Keoghan is also expected back as the Joker, a role that was cut, but his deleted scenes can be seen online.
Brad Pitt was in talks to play Dent's father, but he couldn't make it work with scheduling commitments. I wasn't really a fan of the first film, as I found it depressing and slow-paced compared to Christoper Nolan's Dark Knight trilogy.
Since the DCEU is dead and we are now fully in James Gunn's DCU, I would rather see the DCU Batman appear or them to make Robert Pattinson the one. How many Batmans can we get before the character becomes boring? For those who think the Reeves version's reality is too grounded never saw when 'Arrow' introduced superpowers onto the show with The Flash's arrival.
