What is your favorite fight scene from a comic book film?
When you think of comic book fans, you wouldn't expect Leonardo DiCaprio to be one, as he is famous for telling Timothée Chalamet to avoid playing superheroes. Did you know Leonardo DiCaprio once had discussions with director Zack Snyder on playing Lex Luthor in 'Justice League'?
Snyder discussed DiCaprio's interest level in an interview on the Happy Sad Confused podcast: "Eh, I think so. I think DiCaprio... he had a lot of great ideas, actually, just in the meeting. I think in the end, he was like, 'Eh, you know, I don't know,' but he was really smart about the material, and really smart about the character. And then, really, in a lot of ways, I think... I think he was the one that mentioned to me this idea about Superman fighting the Justice League at some point, and I was like, 'Oh, that's cool.'"
The scene finds us after Superman is revived to life from the Motherbox, which is the DC version of the Infinity Stones. Still brainwashed and confused, the remaining Justice League try to stop him before he does something rash, like put on Fox News.
He throws away Wonder Woman, Cyborg, and Aquaman like P. Diddy does with his dates, as Flash uses super speed to catch him by surprise, but finds Superman is just as fast and stumbles hard, just like Ezra Miller's career. Batman tries talking reason into him, like Obama did with Trump, but Superman instead is stopped from killing him when Lois Lane appears to nag him like my ex did. And then love saves him, and he becomes the hero we remember.
