Who do you think has the better filmography between Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt?
Paramount announced the exciting news at CinemaCon last week that scripts for sequels to both 'Top Gun' and 'World War Z' are in development. Now what will this look like?
'World War Z'- It's been thirteen years since the first one came out, which leaves me wondering what is happening storyline-wise since then. The ending showed humanity figuring out they can fight the Zombies by infecting themselves with a curable virus that leaves them invisible. So will the sequel take place right after or jump 13 years into the present? I hope they don't recycle the overused storyline of human factions fighting each other.

The film made $540 million worldwide and was directed by Marc Forster. Why it's taken so long after such a successful release to me could be because of not being able to tackle the material, as David Fincher was attached to direct for a while and didn't crack it.
Fincher told GQ he was glad it never went through, as HBO's 'The Last of Us' did what he envisioned: "It was a little like 'The Last of Us.' I'm glad that we didn't do what we were doing because 'The Last of Us' has a lot more real estate to explore the same stuff. In our title sequence, we were going to use the little parasite...they used it in their title sequence and in that wonderful opening with the Dick Cavett, David Frost-style talk show."
'Top Gun'- This one has had a shorter time of four years since the second film in the series came out. We know director Joseph Kosinski and writer Ehren Kruger are back, but what mission storywise will it be to reunite Tom Cruise, Miles Teller, and Glen Powell?

My big question to the hardcore fans is, which characters from the original film do you want to return? Viper (Tom Skerritt), Hollywood (Whip Hubley), Jester (Michael Ironside) and Slider (Rick Rossovich) are the ones that come to mind for me.
Which sequel are you more excited for? Comment below with your thoughts.
