Kylo Ren Steven Soderbergh Star Wars Adam Driver

Who is your favorite new character that came from the 'Star Wars' sequels? If your like me your going to go on a rant about screw the new characters and why did they ruin Luke Skywalker??

Adam Driver, in an interview with The AP is talking about 'The Hunt for Ben Solo', a film he was planning to star in for director Steven Soderbergh: "I always was interested in doing another Star Wars. Kathleen [Kennedy] had reached out, and I told her — with a great director and a great story, I’d be there in a second. I loved that character."

The story was about the search and redemption of his Kylo Ren character who was thought to have died when Palpatine threw him off the cliff in 'The Rise Of Skywalker.' This is one of the reasons Disney boss Bob Iger shut it down saying "they didn’t see how Ben Solo was alive.” I guess he has a good reason for how Palpatine and Darth Maul was still alive even though they fell even further in the reactor shaft.

Driver said the script was "one of the coolest f*cking scripts I had ever been a part of.” Soderbergh also admitted his disappointment: "I really enjoyed making the movie in my head. I’m just sorry the fans won’t get to see it.”

Personally, while I think a Soderbergh film would of been cool, I wish they would just retcon the entire sequel trilogy while Mark Hamill is still alive and hand it over to Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni, who made Luke Skywalker the way he needed to be in the famous rescue scene in 'The Mandalorian.'
