"The Brave And The Bold": Is Tom Brittney The DCU Batman?

Who is your favorite Batman? I have to go with Christian Bale followed by Ben Affleck. I have to go with Christian Bale, followed by Ben Affleck, then George Clooney, Val Kilmer, Michael Keaton, and last, Robert Pattinson, who played an emo, depressed version that made me reach for my Prozac bottle.

Rumors are heating up that the new DCU Batman has been found, and it's not choices like Alan Ritchson (Reacher), Jensen Ackles (Supernatural), or Brandon Sklenar (1923) but British actor Tom Brittney (Greyhound).

Hollywood Insider John Campea was the first to break the news, saying, "It’s not a name I would have guessed." Brittney was a runner-up to David Corenswet for 'Superman' and must have made an impression on DC Studios Chief James Gunn.

Brittney will be seen in the upcoming 'Fall 2: Deadpoint' and was in 'The Westies' and 'Grantchester.' He isn't the choice I would go with, but not because he's British, as Christian Bale is also from England and is my favorite.

I honestly think this is just a rumor, and the DCU Batman won't appear until Matt Reeves finishes his trilogy of Elseworlds films. What do you think?
