What is your favorite comic book scene? I have to go with 'X-Men's' Quicksilver's two slow-motion race scenes he had in 'Days of Future Past' and 'Apocalypse.' Can you name one better?
Good news for comic book fans as Marvel head honcho Kevin Feige announced the cast for the new 'X-Men' film at the D23 convention.
We have Adam Driver as the villain Mr. Sinister, Kit Connor as Cyclops, Christopher Abbott as Professor X, Indie Navarette as Rogue, Sadie Sink as Jean Grey, Maya Boyd as Storm, and Samara Weaving as Emma Frost.
So far, no word on who will play the new Wolverine, Magneto, Mystique, and Gambit. I'm going to predict they try to keep Hugh Jackman as long as he's alive, but if not, they should seriously have Henry Cavill reprise the role from his cameo in 'Deadpool & Wolverine.'
I'd like to see Jensen Ackles play Magneto if he doesn't get picked to be the DCU's Batman. He already plays a great anti-hero in 'The Boys' as Soldier Boy, which makes his casting unlikely. For Gambit, I will go with Drew Starkey from 'Outer Banks' as he is a star on the rise and could bring the humor to the role.
