"Top Gun 3" Loses Joseph Kosinski As Director, Who Should Take Over?

What is your favorite Tom Cruise film?

Sad news for fans of the 'Top Gun' franchise as Joseph Kosinski, who directed the second film in the series, won't return for the third film as he will be busy directing a 'Miami Vice' film reboot and an untitled U.F.O. film for Apple.

The script is expected to be done soon by Ehren Kruger (The Ring) and Christopher McQuarrie (Mission: Impossible- Fallout), and it's expected that McQuarrie will take over the directing reins. But is he your choice?

I would always go with Tony Scott, who directed the first film, but who sadly passed away fourteen years ago. So that leaves me hoping Michael Bay will take over for the sheer spectacle of the visuals he would produce. What about Steven Spielberg? He would bring heart and story into further developing Cruise's Maverick character. But let's put it in your hands.
