Was Taylor Russell & Michael B. Jordan's Romance The Reason For Her Exit From "The Thomas Crown Affair"?

Jeff Sneider from the Insneider has reported that the reason for Taylor Russell's departure this week from 'The Thomas Crown Affair' is due to a romantic break-up with director and star Michael B. Jordan. The romance is said to have begun before moving to the European shooting and must have been dramatic enough to cause her to exit halfway thru filming. Why couldn't they just block each other on Instagram like normal people?

The upcoming film is a remake of the 1968 Steve McQueen and the 1999 Pierce Brosnan films. Adria Arjona (Underground, Hitman) has stepped in to replace her and will be reshooting all her scenes, which won't be cheap. The film is expected to be released in March 2027.
