The DCEU "Justice League" Trilogy Plot Details Revealed: A Super Love Triangle

Before James Gunn introduced his DCU with 'Superman', we had Zack Snyder's DCEU with a planned three-film 'Justice League' trilogy. Unfortunately, he had to leave the almost finished first film due to a death in the family, so Warner Bros. brought in Joss Whedon to make a much-hated version before Snyder returned years later to put out the Snydercut. But details of Snyder's original plans have been revealed.

1. The League Falls Apart- After the end of the first 'Justice League', the heroes go their separate ways to do their own stories and make more money for Warner Bros.

2. A Super Love Triangle- Before Zack Snyder left, the original plot was that while Superman was dead, Bruce Wayne and Lois would have started a romance that resulted in a secret child. 'Love Island' type crap.

3. Lex Luthor's Injustice League- Lex Luthor would have started a team of villains, consisting of Doctor Poison, Deathstroke, Captain Cold, Orm, and Black Manta.

4. Lois Lane's Death- Darkseid kills Lois in the Batcave, allowing Superman to be corrupted with the Anti-Life Equation. He turns into a brainwashed puppet.

5. The Knightmare Timeline- The dystopian Earth will have Wonder Woman dead, Aquaman vanished, Cyborg ripped in half and Superman still a Republican.

6. Green Lantern Arrives- A Green Lantern teams up with Batman, Flash and Deadshot to fight Darkseid. If Ryan Reynolds is playing the Lantern and Will Smith is still Deadshot, I imagine the rest of the film is Will Smith slapping aliens while Reynolds just files legal injunctions.

7. The Cosmic Treadmill- Cyborg builds Flash a time machine to rewrite the past. Something my therapist says they wish they had too.

8. Superman vs The League- Superman kills everyone except Flash, who escapes in hopefully a Quicksilver-like scene on the time machine.

9. A Timeline Reset- Flash arrives in the past to warn Batman that the secret was to protect Lois all along. Batman sacrifices himself to defeat Darkseid. Knowing Lois is carrying Batman's child, Superman vows to raise him with her. Wonder Woman and Aquaman return to rule on Themyscira and Atlantis. Cyborg becomes an Internet God while Flash and Lex Luthor's future is unknown.

10. Gotham's New Protector- Years later, Bruce and Lois' child becomes Batman. I'm more interested in whether Superman and Lois have a baby who ends up with powers.
