What's your favorite ensemble film? Is it a superhero story? A Western? A heist comedy?
'Twisters' director Lee Isaac Chung, who was nominated for an Oscar for 'Minari,' has entered talks to direct the prequel to 'Ocean's 11,' which is about the parents of Danny and Debbie Ocean (played by George Clooney and Sandra Bullock). And you thought you had issues with your parents for taking away your PlayStation.
'Barbie' duo Ryan Gosling and Margot Robbie have been attached to play the Ocean's parents for years with director Jay Roach, before strikes halted the project and Roach left. The film is set at the 1962 Monaco Grand Prix and will involve a yacht robbery. They should use P. Diddy's boat. It would look great and shiny on camera with all the baby oil coated on.
It's implied at the end of 'Ocean's 8' that Danny Ocean has died off-screen when his sister visits his gravestone. I would much rather see his character return with the originals like Brad Pitt and Matt Damon. Joshua Jackson and Topher Grace should also reprise as themselves and have a larger role in the next theft.
So do you want to see a prequel or a sequel? Or would a combination of timelines like 'Godfather 2' did with a young Vito Corleone be best? Comment below with your thoughts.
