What are your thoughts on last year's Super Bowl? Did your team win? Are you taking the drugs and thinking it was rigged to get shots of Taylor Swift? Or are you taking the really good drugs and thinking that the ultimate NFL conspiracy is a plot to sell food that Matthew McConaughey first brought up?
In a headline-grabbing reveal, the NFL dropped its full 2025 schedule, featuring a blockbuster Week 2 rematch between the Kansas City Chiefs and the reigning Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles. Set for September 14 at 3:25 p.m. CST, the high-stakes showdown will take place at Arrowhead Stadium and air on FOX.
Despite the marquee matchup featuring superstars Patrick Mahomes and Jalen Hurts, the game won’t air in a prime-time slot. Still, anticipation is sky-high as fans await a potential redemption arc for the Chiefs following their 40-22 Super Bowl LIX loss to the Eagles.
The Chiefs’ season promises no shortage of spotlight. Their campaign kicks off in Brazil on September 5 against the Chargers — marking the NFL’s second-ever game in South America. They’ll also take the field on Thanksgiving in Dallas and on Christmas night at home against Denver.
Kansas City is set for three Sunday Night Football games, including matchups with the Giants, Lions, and Texans. Additionally, Mahomes will lead the team on two Monday Night Football appearances in October. Their AFC Championship rematch versus the Buffalo Bills is set for November 2 in Buffalo.
For the Eagles, the season begins at home against the Cowboys, where they’ll raise their championship banner. Key matchups include an NFC Championship rematch with Washington on December 20 and a second meeting in Week 18.
The 2025 NFL season kicks off with storylines galore — and all eyes on the Chiefs-Eagles rematch that may not be under the lights, but surely under the spotlight. What team are you cheering for? Comment below.
