Image shows a dramatic, high-contrast film noir scene featuring Nicholas Cage in character for the first trailer of Spider Noir. Cage is dressed in classic noir attire 1940’s coat under moody, cinematic lighting with a darkened room of mystery. The scene evokes suspense, storytelling mastery, cinematic innovation, franchise development, digital media marketing, audience engagement, entertainment industry trends, film promotion strategies, content creation, creative direction, visual branding, influencer commentary, media coverage, cinematic storytelling, and online video distribution. This image conveys film production expertise, strategic marketing of entertainment properties, and compelling, high-impact visual narrative for fans, industry leaders, and media professionals alike.

What is your favorite Nicolas Cage movie?

Amazon Prime has released the first full trailer online for 'Spider-Noir' starring Nicolas Cage as private investigator Ben Reilly in the 1930s, who is trying to hide his past as Spider-Man. One thing is for sure from the trailer is that the web swinging could be the most interesting scenes since the Tobey Maguire movies.

'Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse' producers Phil Lord, Christopher Miller, and Amy Pascal are all returning from the 2018 animated film, where Cage first voiced the character. I have high hopes for this as Cage needs to get back into doing quality A-list projects and move away from the straight-to-DVD shlock he has been doing since he ran into tax problems in 2008. Is there a better trifecta of action films that an actor has done more than Cage did with 'The Rock', 'Face-Off' and 'Con Air'?

Also co-starring are Lamorne Morris as Ben's partner Robbie Robertson, Jack Huston as Flint Marko/Sandman, Brendan Gleeson as crime boss Silvermane, and Li Jun Li as Cat Hardy. The show will premiere on Prime Video and MGM+ on May 27th, 2026.
